DraftKings — the Boston company that turned daily fantasy sports into a sportsbook and casino — is on AGLC's register for Alberta's regulated online market opening July 13, 2026. In Alberta the market is conducted and managed by the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC), and the casino will be available to players across the province, Calgary included, once live. Albertans can expect published per-game RTP, demo play on almost everything, 125-plus in-house games and a cross-product Dynasty Rewards program. Registration with AGLC clears the first hurdle; the operator still needs its AiGC agreement and go-live testing before taking a bet, so confirm the brand on AGLC's current list.
